Dragon Balls

Throughtout all three series, the Dragon Balls have played a very important role in all people's lives.

The Dragon Balls are a small or large, depending on what planet you're from (Earth or Namek), opaque/translucent. shimmering ball, with each one having one to seven stars in each, that can grant any wish. That has proved to be wrong, but we won't get into that. When the wish is granted, Shenlong, the dragon of the balls, returns back into the balls, goes into the sky, and scatters across the plains and cannot be used, until the time limit is up.

However many wishes you make, the amount of power used, and the time between each granted wish, depends on what Dragon Ball set you have used. When the creator or caretaker of the Dragon Balls has died or been absorbed and gone, the Dragon Balls turn to stone, and cannot be used, until a new caretaker is brought forth and revives the dragon.

There is a difference between the Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z Dragon Balls, to the Dragon Ball GT ones. This had nothing to do with Toriyama Akira's set of Dragon Balls, and was made up from TOEI only. These balls were created by Piccolo before he split up between the good and evil of him. The Black Star Dragonballs/Ultimate Dragon Balls, have other qualities, different from the original. For example, when the wish for these balls are made, they travel across the universe, rather than the four corners of earth. Also, when the balls are done traveling across the universe, there has been so much strain and power on this, that the earth cannot handle it, and must be brought back within a year, or the earth will be destroyed. Plus, the power of these balls are so great, that the balls wishes cannot be taken back or reversed.

Dragon Ball Information (Kami's Dragon)

Kami is the god of the Dragon Ball world's earth. He created the Dragon Balls so others could have choices and make use of the balls for good works. He wanted them to have goals in life, so they could have dreams. But, people mis-used his thier privaliges and used it for evil deeds. When Piccolo Daimou killed Shenlong, Kami promised to not revive it, but only for certain people, such as Goku.

These Dragon Balls can only do one wish and after doing the wish, can only be summoned again after one year. To call forth the Shenlong when you have gathered the neccesarly Dragon Balls, you say "Come forth Shenlong!"

When you have called the dragon, you can wish as many people you want back to life, as long as they did not die once or of natural causes, but you can also not call forth the killing or destroying of an indiviual, group, or place. Also, the dragon must be more powerful or stronger than what the wish is asked for, or else he cannot do it.

Dragon Ball Information (Dende's Dragon)

Dende is the second god we know of, from earth. When Kami was absorbed into Piccolo, the Dragon Balls were no more, and turned to stone. Goku went to new Namek to get a new succesor, and found Dende. He then asked Dende to add power to the Dragon Balls, revive the dragon, and take on as god. Dende agreed, and did all that was asked.

These Dragon Balls could do two wishes during the Cell saga and three wishes for the Buu saga. During the Cell saga, when he powered up Shenlong, he asked for two wishes, per summoning. But, we never knew that Dende powered up Shenlong again, but it is said later in the Buu saga, that Shenlong asked for three wishes, instead of two. However, the Dragon Balls never changed thier size. It also doesn't matter how many wishes you use, it will only take on year for the balls to become active again. Again, to call forth the dragon, you say, "Come forth Shenlong!"

When you have called the dragon, you can wish as many people you want back to life, and you can wish them back as many times as you want, after they are dead, but you can also not call forth the killing or destroying of an indiviual, group, or place. Also, the dragon must be more powerful or stronger than what the wish is asked for, or else he cannot do it.

Dragon Ball Information (Saichourou's Dragon)

This is the original creater and maker of the Dragon Balls. Saichourou is Guru in the FUNimation dub. He created the Dragon Balls, when he saw Porunga in a dream. He is the father of the Nameks after the great storm that overpassed the whole planet. He created the balls as a symbol of peace and wisdom, so all Nameks could live in peace.

These Dragon Balls could do three wishes per summoning and afterward of the grantation, Porunga dissapears for 130 days, or one Namek year. To call forth Porunga, you must recite the phrase, "Takarato Poporunga Pupiritoparo!" and must then afterwards, recite the wish in Namekian.

The limitations with these Dragon Balls, is you can only wish one person back to life, per summoning. But, you can revive that person to life as many times as you want. You cannot cause death or destruction on someone, a group, or a thing. The only thing about this Porunga, that is different than the other previous ones, is he can do anything to the universe as the summoner wants, expcet the death and destruction deed.

Dragon Ball Information (Muri's Dragon)

Prior to the death of Saichourou on earth, Saichourou announced that Muri would be his succersor and the keeper of the Namek Dragon Balls. After much training and discipline, he powered up the Dragon Balls so much, that it is said in the later mangas, that the Dragon Balls and Porunga were as powerful as Dai Kaio-shin.

These Dragon Balls could do three wishes per summoning and afterward of the grantation, Porunga dissapears for 6 months, or one new Namek year. To call forth Porunga, you must recite the phrase, "Takarato Poporunga Pupiritoparo!" and must then afterwards, recite the wish in Namekian.

With these new Dragon Balls, you can wish as many people you want back to life as many times as you like. You cannot cause death or destruction on someone, a group, or a thing. Also, to do the wish, Porunga must be able to do the wish, in Saichourou's power. Meaning, you cannot wish for just about everything.
